Hi, I'm Chris Warner.
I design stuff.
I am a web/graphic designer by day and a web/graphic designer by night. I mean, I do other things, but I love to design and am passionately dedicated to the work that I do.
I'm constantly designing things in my head, whether it be adjusting the spacing between letters on a billboard's text or visually moving elements around on a magazine article's layout. Design is everywhere and I'm always trying to find new ways to make it work.

About Me
There are two very important things to know about me
- I have a never ending passion and fascination for everything design.
- I work harder than the hardest worker.
I was born in Akron, OH and spent what seemed to be most of my adult life in college at the University of Akron trying to figure out what I wanted to do with myself. One thing led to another and I realized how much I was captivated by design in all its forms. I graduated in 2007 and soon found myself living and working as a web designer in Canton, OH.
I work within a company that is a leading real estate website and lead management technology developer. Hot damn, that's a mouthful! Simply put, I design and develop websites for real estate companies.
Now, as exciting as all that sounds, I am ready for a new challenge. Something I have to learn and get better at each day. Something that makes me feel as if my designs are having impact. That's all really, I'm not too picky. Do you know of a place that offers these things?
Print Work
Print production, to me, is one of the most invaluable, and occasionally under appreciated mediums that graphic design has to offer.
There's something about holding a thick piece of 100lb. uncoated stock, or running your fingers over embossed text, or seeing a drop of water on a piece of paper coated with a nice glossy spot varnish that is amazing to me. Just the fact that I know what all those things mean, is something that is also amazing!
Paper is a powerful resource and, as a designer, I am always thinking of the best ways to take advantage of and be creative with it.

Goal: The couple wanted their wedding invitation to have a vintage look while staying classic and unique.

Goal: Create a logo and package that would stand out amongst various other brands of pasta in a grocery store.

Project: Hurricane Katrina Relief Poster
Goal: In light of Hurricane Katrina, this poster was designed to convey the message that the victims are still in need of assistance.

Web Work
As web designer for a company that specializes in providing internet technology to real estate companies, it is my responsibility to, well, design websites for real estate companies. I don't stop at just the design of them, however! I also develop them using CSS, XHTML, PHP, the occasional Javascript and occasionally Flash.

Project: DeHoff Realtors website
Goal: The client wanted a fun, bright design that would attract younger home buyers. It was important for them to showcase many different features on the homepage without having to scroll.

Goal: The client wanted their site to better reflect and target their prime market of blue-collared, middle-class income families.

Project: RE/MAX Haven Realtors
Goal: The client wanted to separate themselves from other area RE/MAX offices by using imagery and a large search form that would grab the user's attention.
